‘DIG (a group exhibition featuring Zico Albaiquni, Corinna Berndt, Patriot Mukmin, Mina Young, Archie Barry, Jeremy Eaton, Mark Fried- lander, and Lewis Gittus) asks questions to the representation of history and looks at how artists materially navigate an increasingly unstable era of information and knowledge. Within the institution, current practice requires artists to traverse this terrain, gathering precedents and—like officers of the law—build a case. However, as Professor of English, David Punter has pointed out, even the most robust cases are forever in danger of breaking open, spilling their contents, or admitting wildly inappropriate documents.’
